Why? Number 1 is the large storage capacity (I need a lot of space for electrical equipment, solar batteries etc), IONIQ 5 has 1580 litres of rear storage capacity when the second-row seats are fully folded. Two, its four wheel drive (very important when I'm visiting off-grid clients). 3. Its considerably cheaper than the BYD Sealion 7 which has a comparable, slightly larger 1,789L of boot area with the seats folded. I also prefer the design look of the IONIQ 5, its looks a little more rugged to be used as an electricians vehicle than the more luxurious Sealion 7.
